Rioting is the new norm during the second term of the nation’s first black president, talk show host Rush Limbaugh told listeners yesterday.
“It seems like rioting is almost expected now when there is a cop shooting. A cop shooting, period,” Limbaugh told listeners on Sept. 21. “Don’t care about the details. It seems like it’s now axiomatic that there’s going to be rioting or massive public protests or threats of rioting or threats of unrest every time the cops have to draw their weapons.”
The latest protests have erupted in Charlotte, N.C., after a black officer shot and killed a black man with a gun who disobeyed police commands, authorities said. The family is questioning the official account, according to media reports.
