I Heart Mac & Cheese announces Aug. 26 re-opening date for Athens, Georgia, location

I Heart Mac & Cheese has announced its Athens, Georgia, location will re-open on Aug. 26.

The fast-casual concept specializes in made-to-order, fully customizable build your own macaroni and cheese bowls and grilled cheese sandwiches.

To commemorate the re-opening of this location, I Heart Mac & Cheese will host a re-opening celebration, including merchandise and giveaways. Additionally, the first 100 customers to be served on Aug. 26 will be entered into a raffle to win free I Heart Mac & Cheese for the entire year.

“We are excited to re-open the doors of our Athens location and continue our dedication to providing our unique experience to our beloved Athens community,” said I Heart Mac & Cheese President Steve Giordanella. “We have missed our guests and can’t wait to serve each and every one of them again.”

The brand said it remains committed to its guests’ and employees’ health and safety. Officials said they follow the highest standards for sanitation and social distancing while abiding by all the necessary restaurant opening guidelines set forth by the State of Georgia and the CDC.
