Christmas controversy brewing in Dunwoody
DUNWOODY, Ga. — A Christmas controversy is brewing in Dunwoody.
The Light Up Dunwoody, held at the historic Farmhouse in downtown Dunwoody in years past, has featured a Christmas. The year, in the wake of a request to include a menorah as a part of the celebration, the group has decided to ban all religious symbols from the Farmhouse property, according to published reports.
“We were concerned about putting the menorah on the lawn, “ Fox10 quoted Melanie Williams of the Dunwoody Preservation Trust as saying.
The Dunwoody Homeowners Association, which sponsors the event, is looking for a new home for the event.
