Ga. senator wants moratorium on HOT lanes

ATLANTA — Sen. Curt Thompson, D-Tucker, will present SB 347 during today’s Senate Transportation Committee meeting.

SB 347 would place a moratorium on the development of high occupancy toll (HOT) lanes in Georgia. The bill would also require the Georgia General Assembly to pass legislation to designate the future return of any and all HOT lanes.
