U.S. Senate Ted Cruz, R-Texas, won re-election to the U.S. Senate, knocking off liberal media darling Beto O’Rourke.
Most media outlets are reporting Republicans will retain control of the U.S. Senate, possibly picking up three or more seats. Democrats are poised to take control of the House.
There have been few surprises thus far to most political watchers.
