Ga. college student faces child exploitation charges

A college student faces child exploitation charges, FBI Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Brian D. Lamkin said today.

Ian Davidson Kennedy, 22, of Rome, was arrested after allegedly traveling to Chickamauga “in an effort to have sex with a ‘minor child,'” the FBI said. Authorities learned of Kennedy, a student at Berry College, “during online conversations over the Internet.”

Kennedy is currently facing state of Georgia charges of obstruction, computer pornography and sexual exploitation of a child, and aggravated child molestation (criminal attempt).
