A portion of Interstate 85 in Atlanta collapsed today, following a fire, according to various media reports.
The fire was reported about 6:30 p.m., local media reported. Despite the fire breaking out during Atlanta’s infamous rush hour, no injuries have been reported.
It is not clear what caused the fire. Fire crews from Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport helped Atlanta firefighters extinguish the blaze, WSB-TV reported.

There is a vehicle fire underneath the I-85 overpass near GA 400. ALL LANES of I-85 North AND South are currently closed near GA 400 to all traffic. Fire is on scene working to put the fire out now. All motorists are strongly urged to avoid the area. For more information, please call 511.
