ATLANTA — A series of high-profile business and non-profit leaders are scheduled to speak to the Buckhead Business Association (BBA) during the organization’s breakfast meetings in June.
Speakers scheduled for June are:
- Marla Michalewicz, president of the Atlanta Lawn & Tennis Association (ALTA), America’s largest tennis organization, will address the BBA on June 2.
- Ron Rogowski, president of the Atlanta Sports Council and vice president of global brand and sponsorships for UPS, will appear before the organization on June 9.
- Fredie Carmichael, nuclear development communications coordinator with Southern Company, will speak to the BBA on June 16.
- Michelle Nunn, president and CEO of CARE USA, will appear before the civic group on June 30.
The BBA holds breakfast meetings at 7:30 a.m. most Thursday mornings at the City Club of Buckhead. Meetings feature a business, political or civic leader as a speaker, and topics usually include leading issues within the Buckhead community and Atlanta as a whole.
In addition, the BBA has announced this year’s Taste of Buckhead is set for Sept. 15 at The Stave Room at American Spirit Works, Buckhead’s newest event space. For more information about the event and participating restaurants, visit tasteofbuckhead.org.
