Encore Parkway widening project ongoing in Alpharetta, Ga.

ALPHARETTA, Ga. — A $14 million project to widen Encore Parkway between North Point Parkway and Westside Parkway is ongoing.

The prpject, which is 0.7 miles in length, includes two 14-foot travel lanes, two six-foot bike lanes, 8-foot sidewalks and a new bridge over Georgia Highway 400, according to the North Fulton CID. The new bridge will allow for the future widening of Ga. 400.

Crews will also install landscaped buffers on each side of the riaf and a raised, landscaped median.
