Conyers roadwork continues on Irwin Bridge Road

CONYERS, Ga. — A project to add bike lanes and sidewalks to a stretch of Irwin Bridge Road in downtown Conyers continues.

“We’re doing pretty extensive work on the road itself,” The Rockdale Citizen quoted Brad Sutton, transportation director with the city of Conyers as saying. “It will be repaved and we will add bike lanes from Main Street to Sigman. There will also be a pedestrian crossing for people to cross Sigman Road.”
