Mercer Linebacker Tosin Aguebor Undergoes Surgery

MACON, Ga. – Mercer University football coach Bobby Lamb announced Wednesday that sophomore linebacker Tosin Aguebor underwent surgery this afternoon to repair a lower leg injury sustained during Tuesday afternoon’s practice.

The surgery was performed by Dr. Wood Pope of OrthoGeorgia and a full recovery for Aguebor is expected.

Mercer’s 2014 fall camp comes to a close this week, as the Bears wrap up their preseason with a Thursday night scrimmage and the final practice of camp on Friday afternoon.
