Viracon to create 125 jobs in Bulloch County

Viracon, one of North America’s largest architectural glass fabricators, will expand its existing operations in Statesboro, creating 125 jobs and investing $2 million in its Statesboro facility.

“Georgia’s booming manufacturing sector makes it easy for leading global companies such as Viracon to remain competitive in Georgia,” Gov. Nathan Deal said in a statement. “Having the tools to help existing business create high-quality jobs is important to keeping our state a leader in the international marketplace.”

The existing 330,000-square-foot facility in Statesboro produces and fabricates architectural glass for major construction projects across the United States. This newest expansion will help the company meet the expected growth in product demand, particularly growth in commercial construction activity along the Atlantic and Gulf coasts.
