Atlanta Press Club hosting eight primary debates

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Press Club will host eight primary debates as part of this year’s Atlanta Press Club’s Loudermilk-Young Debate Series.

The series kicks off May 11 with a trio of debates that are to be televised statewide on Georgia Public Broadcasting. All debates will be held at Georgia Public Broadcasting’s studio on 14th Street in Atlanta and will be carried by public broadcasting affiliates statewide, streamed on gpb.org and archived on atlantapressclub.org.

If no candidate receives a majority of the votes cast during the May 20 primary, the top two vote-getters will face off during a July 22 runoff.
