Georgia State Basketball: Panthers, Hilltoppers TV Game Set To Be Seen Nationally

ATLANTA – Georgia State fans around the country have a chance to see the Sun Belt men’s basketball champions playing one last time during the regular season on Saturday. As part of a doubleheader, both the GSU vs. Western Kentucky men’s and women’s games will be available nationally on ESPN3 and ESPN Full Court.

Due to ESPN telecast regulations regarding third-tier games, the game will not be seen on PantherVision, the Panthers’ live video streaming portal on GeorgiaStateSports.com. ESPN3 is carried in 77 million homes across the country. Unlike during Sun Belt Network games, Saturday’s contest produced by WKU will not be blacked out in any market (including Atlanta).

The Panthers and Hilltoppers will tip off at approximately 2:30 p.m. ET on Saturday following the women’s basketball contest between GSU and WKU. The doubleheader starts at noon. Tickets for the men’s game are going fast, with the lower level sold out for more than a week. General admission tickets are $10 and a limited number remain. For tickets, call 866-GA-STATE or come to the GSU Sports Arena Ticket Office at 125 Decatur Street in downtown Atlanta.

The Georgia State men will be the No. 1 seed next weekend at the Sun Belt Championship in New Orleans. GSU will play at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 15 with an opponent to be determined. The GSU women will not know their tournament seed until after Saturday’s game against the Hilltoppers. Tickets for the Sun Belt Championship can be purchased by contacting the GSU Athletic Ticket Office at 866-GA-STATE.
