Man arrested after fight at Cartersville gas station

CARTERSVILLE, Ga. — A gas station employee spurned by her fiance’s apparent infidelity told authorities she was dragged  across the parking lot of a Cartersville gas station after a confrontation, according to The Daily Tribune News.

According to the newspaper report, the victim told cops she was upset after she found out her fiance was sleeping with another woman.

The ruckus apparently ensued after the fiance arrived at the gas station in an effort to converse with the victim. The two, according to the report, began to fight and the fiance jumped into the driver’s seat of a car.

He then put the car in reverse apparently in an effort to leave the gas station. In doing so, the finance apparently struck the woman with the vehicle’s driver’s side door.

He was later arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accidental and other charges. The woman’s condition was not immediately available.
