The Atlanta area and the state of Georgia are a laughing stock of the nation after nearly every road in the region turned into one massive traffic jam that has lasted more than 12 hours.
Elected and nonelected officials should be embarrassed. Leaders tout this city as an economic player on the global stage?

Leaders failed to lead. They failed to plan. They failed to take responsibility.
Despite having ample warning, they blamed the quick-changing weather for the problems. Yet they failed to put any sort of sand and/or salt on Interstate 285, a vital artery in Atlanta.
Ice is dangerous, yes. But leaders who are impotent and ignorant ate just as dangerous, if not more so.
