The Lincoln University “Lions”(1-6, 0-4 CIAA) vs.
Bowie State University “Bulldogs” (3-5, 1-4 CIAA)
1 p.m. – Bulldog Stadium in Bowie, Md.
The Lions and Bulldogs will be meeting for only the sixth time in the history of the two institutions. Lincoln looks to rebound from a 34-14 homecoming loss to division leading Virginia State while BSU hopes to build on last week’s 34-7 win over Virginia Union.

Virginia State University “Trojans” (7-1, 5-0 CIAA) vs.
Chowan University “Hawks” (3-5, 2-3 CIAA)
1 p.m. – Garrison Stadium in Murfreesboro, N.C. (Homecoming)
Chowan closes out its home schedule against the division leading Trojans, who are riding a six game winning streak. Saturday’s contest marks the third meeting between the two schools with each team claiming victory in the previous two meetings. VSU can clinch first place in the Northern Division with a win over the Hawks.

Elizabeth City State University “Vikings”(3-5, 3-2 CIAA) vs.
Virginia Union University “Panthers”(3-5, 3-2 CIAA)
1 p.m. – Hovey Field in Richmond, Va.
Second place in the Northern Division is on the line in Richmond. ECSU looks to extend its winning streak to three while VUU looks to rebound after having its three game winning broken by Bowie State last week.

Fayetteville State University “Broncos” (5-3, 4-1 CIAA) vs.
Livingstone College “Blue Bears” (2-6, 1-5 CIAA)
1:30 p.m. – Alumni Memorial Stadium in Salisbury, N.C. (Homecoming)
The Blue Bears will celebrate homecoming against the Broncos. FSU needs a win to keep its division title hopes alive. Johnson C. Smith University “Golden Bulls” (4-4, 2-4 CIAA) vs.
St. Augustine’s University “Falcons” (3-5, 2-3 CIAA)
1:30 p.m. – John Baker Stadium in Raleigh, N.C.
JCSU looks to stop a three game losing streak while SAU tries to avoid its third straight loss on Senior Day. The Golden Bulls dropped a 39-33 decision, at home, to Shaw last week. St. Aug lost to Fayetteville State, 43-19 last Saturday.

Shaw University “Bears”(5-3, 3-2 CIAA) vs.
Winston-Salem State University “Rams” (7-1, 5-0 CIAA)
1:30 p.m. – Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Winston-Salem State University Athletics will be hosting a Veterans Appreciation Day to thank those who have served their community and their country as they host the Bears of Shaw University. WSSU is undefeated in conference play and looks to clinch a tie for first place in the division with a win. Shaw is riding a three game winning streak and needs a win to keep its division title hopes alive.

Winston-Salem State University is ranked fourth and Virginia State Universiy is sixth in the first NCAA Division II Super Region 1 rankings of the season released by the NCAA Championships selection committee.

The NCAA Super Region 1 rankings are used to decide the six teams from the region, who will qualify for the 2013 NCAA Division II Football Championships. The top two teams in each region receive a bye into the quarterfinals while Nos. 3 and 4 seeds host Nos. 5 and 6 seeds, respectively. The winners of the first round games then advance to play at Nos. 1 and 2 seeds in the region on Nov. 30 in the quarterfinals.
