Wooster defeats Denison, 43-21

Richard Barnes threw for 280 yards and three touchdowns as Wooster knocked off Denison by a 43-21 margin.

Before a crowd of 2,650 at John P. Papp Stadium in Wooster, Ohio, Wooster (4-3) jumped out to a 29-0 lead at halftime and reclaimed the Old Red Lantern traveling trophy with the victory. In the show of offense, Wooster racked up 540 yards of total offense to 449 yards for Denison (4-3).

Brandon Sklenar led the Big Red offense, throwing for 276 yards and a pair of touchdowns while also rushing for 114 yards and a touchdown. Sklenar, however, also threw three interceptions.
