Candidates for 4th Congressional District seat face off in Atlanta Press Club debate

ATLANTA — Candidates vying for the Republican and Democratic nominations for the 4th Congressional District will have the opportunity to face off Sunday during the Atlanta Press Club’s Loudermilk-Young Debate Series.

On the Democratic side, Courtney L. Dillard, Incumbent Hank Johnson Sr. and Lincoln Nunnally are invited to appear at the debate, which will air statewide Sunday at 5 p.m. on Georgia Public Broadcasting.

On the Republican side, Greg Pallen and J. Chris Vaughn Nunnally are invited to appear at the debate, which will air statewide Sunday at 5:30 p.m. on Georgia Public Broadcasting.

The winners of the two primaries will face off in the Nov. 8 general election.

Scheduled panelists for the debate are Tom Baxter, SaportaReport; April Hunt, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution; and Michelle Wright, All News 106.7 Radio. Afterward, the debate will be archived on the Atlanta Press Club’s website.

Other debates airing Sunday are 7th Congressional District (Republican), 11th Congressional District (Republican), 9th Congressional District (Republican) and 5th Congressional District (Democrat).
