Multi-State Health Care Coalition Bill Passes Senate

ATLANTA – The Georgia Insurance Commissioner would be allowed to set coverage standards for the regional reciprocal sales of health insurance across state lines under SB 471, which passed the Senate today.

The bill was sponsored by Sen. Judson Hill, R-Marietta, and now heads to the state House of Representatives after a 36-16 vote.
