Reports: Reed to revoke order allowing protest to stay in park

ATLANTA — Mayor Kasim Reed on Monday said he was planning to revoke an executive order that allowed the Occupy Atlanta protesters to remain in Robert Woodruff Park in downtown Atlanta, ajc.com and WGCL-TV reported.

“I am making it clear that I will revoke my executive order at a time of my choosing,” WGCL-TV quoted Reed as saying.  “And when I revoke my executive order, the police department, the fire department and our first responders are going to be prepared to move and clear the park at my command.”

The exact timing of the revocation was unclear.
