Board of Pardons and Paroles debating Davis’ fate
ATLANTA — The State Board of Pardons and Paroles spent much of Monday
listening to evidence about whether it should grant clemency to Troy
Anthony Davis, sentenced to death for the 1989 shooting death of an
off-duty Savannah police officer.
At about 6 p.m., the board was set to deliberate, but it is not
immediately clear when a decision might be handed down, according to
Amnesty International.
