Cobb, Clayton raise taxes

ATLANTA — Commissioners in a pair of Metro Atlanta counties on Tuesday voted to raise property taxes, according to published reports.

Cobb County is raising its millage rate 15.7 percent while Clayton County went with a 34 percent increase, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
