Gingrich: ‘Committed to running the substantive, solutions-oriented campaign’

ATLANTA — Despite a mass exodus of his campaign staff, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich vowed to continue his presidential run.

“I am committed to running the substantive, solutions-oriented campaign I set out to run earlier this spring,” Gingrich said on his Facebook page. “The campaign begins anew Sunday in Los Angeles.”

The Associated Press reported that a number of Gingrich's top aides resigned on Thursday.
