FMCSA, GSP to conduct bus safety inspections in Athens

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and the Georgia State Police will conduct bus safety inspections at the Greyhound Bus Lines terminal in Athens on Wednesday.

The strike forces are part of FMCSA’s year-around, nationwide safety enforcement efforts designed to strengthen commercial bus and driver safety, officials said.
