Report: Cop killer’s hostages are safe

The hostages taken by a suspected cop killer are safe, according to the GBI, the Athens Banner-Herald reported.

The suspected cop killer was holed up in an Athens apartment, but wass talking with authorities, WSB-AM reported.

Jamie Hood, suspected in the shooting of two officers at one point had nine hostages, the radio station reported.

One officer died in the shooting.
