Georgia: Candidates skip statewide debate

ATLANTA — Three sitting congressmen from Georgia — all Democrats — skipped statewide debates in recent weeks.

U.S. Reps. John Barrow and Hank Johnson skipped an Atlanta Press Club debate on Friday. U.S. Rep. David Scott skipped an Atlanta Press Club debate two weeks ago.
