Reports: Clinton Wins West Virginia

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., won the West Virginia Democratic primary, various media outlets are reporting. Clinton was expected to win by a wide margin in the largely rural and mountainous state.

Experts say that Clinton’s decisive win over her rival, U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., will do little to thwart Obama’s momentum. Some media outlets have declared Obama the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination.
